About The Position

Working in an enterprise finance role that provides financial analysis and consultative support to corporate businesses leaders. This will include researching variances, identify emerging trends and present findings to Management to drive results. Develops, interprets, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control.

Requirements

2+ years of related experience in finance/accounting positions
Possesses and applies knowledge of financial analysis principles and practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to handle competing priorities simultaneously
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) required

Nice To Haves

Prior financial reporting and planning experience preferred
Oracle Hyperion/IBM Cognos / Essbase experience strongly preferred
P&C insurance experience not required, but preferred

Responsibilities

Update and develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial, business, and operational reporting in an accurate and timely manner.
Analyze financial information to provide variance analysis of current financial performance and investigates discrepancies and trends to identify business drivers of results. Develop additional reporting to communicate findings.
Display financial information and summarize data in a concise manner to report to senior management.
Coordinate and support the annual financial planning cycle in partnership with business partners and extended financial team. Assist organization in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements.
Make recommendations regarding process improvements, data analytics and reporting capabilities.
Support adhoc requests and analysis from senior management.
Responsible for individual projects from initiation through completion, collaborating with teams outside area. May be assigned to a particular project and be accountable for reporting on project status.
Contribute to the broader high-functioning Expense Team as an equal partner in driving results through dialogue, group projects and thought sharing.
