Financial Analyst II
About The Position
We’re looking for a Financial Analyst who wants to leverage their business acumen in our fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The role is a unique blend of financial analytics and business partnership. You will need to dive deep into the numbers to understand cost levers impacting the business and also drive cross-functional discussions with key internal partners to help ensure financially prudent outcomes to existing business challenges. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work three days per week in Cypress, CA (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Accounting
- 3+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent education/experience combination.
- Ability to apply solid business judgment to analytical projects and provide guidance based on analyses.
- Accurately assess risks associated with various alternatives
- Tech savvy and high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Nice To Haves
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate analysis, modeling or reporting
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365
- Demonstrated ability to independently prepare financial and/or strategic analysis with accuracy within an established time frame
- Ability to communicate complex issues in a concise, clear manner, whether written or oral
Responsibilities
- Structure large data sets to find usable information and create reports for internal teams.
- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.
- Identify improvement opportunities, recommend future state, quantify opportunities, partner with business leaders to successfully implement, and track success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to build financial models that inform pricing, profitability, channel economics, and new product launch decisions.
- Be a key user of various financial systems of the Company and other business applications.
