About The Position

The Financial Analyst II will compile and analyze financial information integral to the core objectives and requirements of each department. This role is responsible for consolidating reports, month-end journal entries, audit requests, scheduling, reoccurring meetings and providing regular system maintenance for companies at various manufacturing locations across North America. The analyst will develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations of business units, and serve as the primary point of contact for plant accounting staff. They will create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual business unit reports, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. Additionally, the role involves identifying trends and developments in competitive environments, performing financial forecasting, and reconciling internal accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including excellent Excel skills and a proven ability to build complex financial models.
  • Must be results and deadline oriented with an ability to manage multiple assignments and work extended hours as dictated by the workload.
  • A strong desire to professionally grow and the ability to enthusiastically embrace new challenges.
  • Must be a team player with an ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Consolidation and ERP software, such as LV and JDE, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Systems, preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual business unit reports and ensuring that financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • Identifying trends and developments in competitive environments and presenting findings to manager.
  • Performing financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
  • Any and all financial analyst related tasks as directed by supervisor.
