This role is responsible for accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting support to the Power Grid Operations Florida business unit. The position requires a blend of technical and functional financial reporting and analysis skills. The role works closely with business customers to analyze and report variances, trends, and plans. Key activities include financial planning, managing budget development, and monthly, year-to-date, and year-end financial analysis. The role will collaborate with business representatives at all levels to provide the expertise and assistance necessary for the business to achieve financial success. The preferred location is St. Petersburg, FL, but the selected candidate may be located at any Duke Energy location in FL with a vacancy. The exact location will be determined at the time of offer based on business needs. Depending on the qualifications of the successful applicant, the hiring manager may elect to fill this position at a higher level within the job hierarchy.
