About The Position

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges. With your analytics and financial acuity, you'll liaise between the Finance team with the functional areas it supports. You resolve issues related to forecasting, planning, resource prioritization and business profitability, and you help translate analyses into easy-to-understand presentations. At Google, our Marketing Finance team operates at the dynamic intersection of strategy, investment, and analytics. In this role, you will be a part of a highly analytical, global team dedicated to maximizing returns through thought leadership and collaborative partnerships, all while ensuring robust quality controls are in place for Marketing’s OpEx budget. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.

Nice To Haves

Experience with building data infrastructure (e.g., designing architecture, building data pipelines, implementing scalable monitoring) and implementing reporting solutions.
Experience leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency, and a willingness to support the team's forward-looking AI initiatives and strategic project portfolios.
Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influencing decision-making with numerical analysis and generating insights.
Ability to take ownership, confidence to interact with all levels, set objectives, drive results, and be a team player.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of departments.

Responsibilities

Serve as the central hub for the planning and review cycles by leading the consolidation and synthesis of annual plans, long-range financial plans, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Act as the central program manager for critical initiatives and Objective and Key Results (OKR) tracking, maintaining the central tracker for leadership and ensuring visibility into milestones, dependencies, and team progress across Knowledge and Information Marketing Finance.
Oversee and manage budget operations across the Knowledge & Information (K&I) portfolio, including the review and approval of purchase orders (POs) and running accurate, timely monthly financial forecasting cycles.
Lead the consolidation and coordination of central finance workflows, driving consistency, data integrity, and operational clarity across the broader organization.
