About The Position

As a Financial Analyst, you’ll be supporting one of several functional areas including but not limited to Merchandising, Marketing, Digital and Technology, Selling Channels, Supply Chain, Real Estate, Enterprise Finance, Financial Services or Capital. The focus of the Finance Analyst will be on driving financial performance through effective planning, analysis, and performance management. These highly collaborative and cross functional roles provide ample opportunity to have a meaningful impact on Best Buy’s growing business. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. Requirements

6 months or more of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Basic proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel)

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Work experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Responsibilities

Support key financial processes, including monthly forecasting, month-end variance analysis, management reporting, annual budgeting, and long-range financial planning.
Gather data and leverage financial models to generate insights while building a deep understanding of the assigned business or functional area.
Contribute to financial statement analysis and provide recommendations that support informed business decision-making.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and recommend solutions to leadership.
Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, adapt to changing priorities, and understand the financial impact of operational decisions.
