About The Position

This role supports the Financial Planning & Analysis organization by delivering timely, accurate financial insights through data-driven analysis. The Financial Analyst, FP&A Data & Analytics partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting while helping standardize and enhance the use of financial and operational data. This position offers strong exposure to senior finance leaders and plays a meaningful role in enabling informed decision-making across the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in finance, FP&A, analytics, or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard financial systems or reporting tools.
  • Ability to organize data, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • English proficiency required.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Exposure to budgeting and forecasting cycles in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or commercial finance.
  • Understanding of standard accounting principles and financial controls.
  • Experience preparing materials for senior leadership audiences.
  • CPA, CMA, or similar certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, including variance and trend analysis.
  • Prepare actual vs. forecast and actual vs. plan analyses for management reporting.
  • Assemble, track, and analyze monthly business performance metrics and trends.
  • Enhance, standardize, and improve the use of financial and operational data and reporting tools.
  • Identify issues, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis and recommend actions.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and materials for senior management and business reviews.
  • Provide day-to-day analytical and operational finance support to internal stakeholders.
  • Adhere to established safety, privacy, and confidentiality standards and apply the Johnson & Johnson Credo in daily work.
