About The Position

The Sr. Financial Analyst plays a key role in strengthening the company’s financial performance through forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, business analytics, and strategic financial analysis. As the organization’s first dedicated FP&A resource, this position offers the opportunity to build and shape scalable financial planning, reporting, dashboarding, and analytics processes from the ground up. Working closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional business partners, the Sr. Financial Analyst will help improve financial visibility, support operational decision-making, and identify opportunities to drive profitability, efficiency, and long-term growth across the organization. This is not a traditional accounting-focused role; instead, it is best suited for a hands-on finance professional with experience in operational finance, or business analytics within manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or other product-based business environments. Success in this role requires strong analytical and investigative thinking, comfort working through ambiguity, technical aptitude with financial and analytics systems, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, operational finance, or business analytics within manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or other product-based industries

  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, complex formulas, and large data set analysis
  • Experience using ERP and analytics platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, SQL, EDA, or similar business intelligence and reporting tools
  • Experience building dashboards, KPI reporting, and scalable financial reporting processes
  • Strong analytical and investigative mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies, validate assumptions, and uncover root causes within data
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability to assess financial performance, identify trends and risks, and provide actionable business insights and recommendations
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently, ask thoughtful questions, and drive process improvements in evolving environments
  • Ability to maintain a hybrid presence at our Wauwatosa office for collaboration, with up to 15% travel to the Corporate Office for internal meetings and business needs.
