About The Position

The Financial Analyst Development Program (FADP) at Target is designed for individuals in their final year of an undergraduate program, preferably in Finance or Accounting. This program offers a unique opportunity to join a growing community of analysts within Target's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Participants will engage in a multi-year cohort experience with activities aimed at accelerating their professional development. These activities include exposure to various FP&A areas through case studies, job shadows, presentations, and interactions with senior leaders and alumni. Upon completion of the program, analysts will be well-prepared to advance their careers at Target. The FP&A team is integral to driving Target's strategic execution and achieving outstanding financial results by fostering influential partnerships and providing credible insights. Analysts will utilize their skills in analytical rigor, creative problem-solving, and sound decision-making to contribute to cross-functional teams and address the dynamic retail industry with innovative solutions impacting financial and operational direction, merchandising, and capital investments.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in the final year of an undergraduate program (Finance or Accounting Preferred).
  • Successful internship or related work experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, communication and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Curious, adaptable, and committed to ongoing learning and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the Financial Analyst Development Program (FADP).
