Financial Analyst Intern - Minneapolis, MN (Starting Summer, 2027)
About The Position
This position is an internship that starts in Summer 2027. The Financial Analyst Development Program (FADP) is a 3-year initiative designed to build a strong foundation for a career in financial analysis. The program aims to cultivate future leaders at Target by focusing on financial acumen, continuous learning and development, and building connections within the program and the FP&A organization. This role is a 10-week, project-based internship providing a realistic job preview into Finance at Target and the day-to-day role of a Financial Analyst. Interns will apply their knowledge to projects focused on technology, property investments, budgeting, sales forecasting, or financial modeling/reporting. The program includes training, development, job shadows, mentorship, and senior leader/alumni panels. Interns will manage a project from start to finish and present their results to leadership.
Requirements
- Current student working towards an undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
- Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Curious, adaptable, and committed to ongoing learning and growth
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (intermediate level of Excel)
Responsibilities
