About The Position

TJX Companies is seeking students for a Semester Co-op opportunity in their Finance Department. This role offers the chance to make an impact, contribute to business strategy, and gain hands-on experience in areas like Business Planning & Analysis and Financial Control. The co-op program provides guided mentorship, opportunities to work on critical finance initiatives, and exposure to cross-functional collaboration within a Fortune 100 company. Requirements

Current juniors
Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (other majors may be considered)
Genuine interest in a Corporate Finance career
Must be available to work full-time from January – June 2027
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a team setting as well as individually
Experience working with numbers
A high level of curiosity
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Detail oriented
Proficiency in Excel (i.e. PivotTables, lookup functions (xlookup, vlookup), index/match functions, sumif/countif, etc.)
Must be available to full-time from January – June 2027

Responsibilities

Contribute to business strategy
Identify and evaluate ongoing profit-generating opportunities
Provide business and analytical project support for critical finance initiatives
Collaborate with experienced financial professionals to manage and execute projects for TJX strategy development
Perform independent analysis projects
Work cross-functionally with other areas of TJX, such as Store Operations, HR, Real Estate, and Marketing
Create and present projects, reports, and communications for Senior Management
