This position is part of our Engineered Components/Aptiv Connection Systems segment out of Troy, MI. The Business Pursuit finance analyst is team-oriented and works with cross-sectional staffs of management, including commercial, engineering, manufacturing, program management, and finance. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business
5+ years of experience: Business Case Development, FP&A.
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, Skype, Teams, Visio, etc.)
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
Strong leadership skills, flexible, and a continuous improvement mindset
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team
Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
Resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environment

Responsibilities

Finance team lead on business pursuit/quotation projects for developing the project business cases
Finance team lead for preparing business case appropriation requests for securing funding approval
Provide project finance updates for program gate reviews from appropriation request to launch this includes preparing the current program financials and the project program financial tracker
Product profitability analysis
Special studies as required
