About The Position

The Financial Analyst, Accounting will be responsible for supporting the Company’s accounting and financial reporting activities through financial analysis, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end and quarter-end close processes. This position reports to the Manager, Revenue Accounting and is part of the Accounting and Finance team located in Irvine, CA and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to prepare financial analyses, reports, and schedules to support internal management reporting, external financial reporting, and other business requirements. You will also support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules. You will analyze general ledger accounts, financial results, and transactions to identify trends, variances, errors, and required adjustments. Additionally, you will support internal and external audit activities by preparing schedules, documentation, reconciliations, and responses to auditor requests. You will maintain appropriate accounting documentation and support compliance with internal controls, Company policies, and applicable SOX requirements.

Requirements

1+ years of accounting, financial analysis, or related experience; relevant internship or professional accounting experience may be considered.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
Experience with or exposure to month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and U.S. GAAP.

Nice To Haves

Working in a publicly traded company and/or SOX-controlled environment.
Experience with Oracle or another large-scale ERP system.
Experience within the medical device, healthcare, manufacturing, or other regulated industry.
Progress toward a CPA or other relevant professional certification is preferred.

Responsibilities
