About The Position

This is a .2 FTE continuing contract position for a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Financial Algebra/Business Mathematics Instructor at Edmonds-Woodway High School that begins upon hire. Preference will be given to candidates that currently have an ELL, ESOL, or Bilingual endorsement. SIOP training and GLAD training offered by the Multilingual Education Department will be required for all new employees unless they can show evidence of having completed SIOP and GLAD training previously. Training will need to be completed within the first two years of employment.

Requirements

Successful applicants should have prior work related experience in business and/or finance.
Either currently hold or be able to obtain appropriate Career and Technical (CTE) certification and endorsement related to this assignment.

Confidential reference forms must be completed by 11:00 p.m. on the closing date.

Assist students who need physical support or exhibit challenging behaviors.
Communicate with others regularly.
Perform manual work using hands or fingers.
Occasional reaching, bending, or twisting.
Moving objects regularly weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Performing close-range tasks and adjusting focus as necessary.
