About The Position

A Financial Aid Team Manager manages a client service team of financial aid staff by distributing workload, monitoring team production, insuring organizational goals are met and maintaining responsibility for the overall management of financial aid services. This position typically reports to an Assistant or Associate Director of a financial aid department or other appropriate administrator. This position provides management for a financial aid area requiring the ability to supervise, train, and monitor employee performance. The Financial Aid Team Manager must maintain substantial knowledge of financial aid options, processing procedures and regulations. They must be able to interpret financial aid policies and procedures in order to properly trouble shoot unusual financial aid problems while maintaining university, state and federal compliance.
