About The Position

As a Remote Financial Aid Processor (Title IV & Verification), you'll be the backbone of our financial aid operations, ensuring students receive timely and accurate support. You will be instrumental in reviewing, verifying, and resolving critical student financial aid documents (ISIRs, C-codes, Conflicting Information) to ensure full compliance with Title IV regulations. Your detail-oriented approach directly impacts our students' ability to fund their education. Work Schedule: Fully remote role with preferred working hours of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM AZ Time on some days.

Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required. Some college coursework preferred.
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years of Financial Aid experience is required.
  • Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in customer service or sales.
  • Exceptional detail-oriented and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process student financial aid documents, including ISIRs, to identify and resolve issues like C-codes, rejections, and conflicting information.
  • Complete the verification process by meticulously reviewing documents to ensure data accuracy and compliance with Title IV requirements.
  • Evaluate professional judgment (PJ) documentation to ensure adequate support for students' special circumstances and prepare them for committee review.
  • Maintain timely and accurate processing of all verification, C-code, and conflicting information documents.
  • Assist with general financial aid and student experience tasks as needed to support campus operations.
