About The Position

PURPOSE: The Title Processor is responsible for the centralized coordination, storage, verification, and release of vehicle collateral titles for all IMCU locations. This role supports branch and lending teams by ensuring titles are accurately tracked, properly coded, released timely after loan payoff, and resolved when issues or delinquencies arise, while maintaining compliance with state BMV requirements.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
12 months credit union experience/customer service experience or equivalent
6 months processing vehicle titles
Excellent communication skills
Completed all required internal training

Responsibilities

Supervise centralization of all IMCU vehicle titles
Create files and collect titles from ALL IMCU locations
Build relationships/contacts with local BMV and become comfortable with other states policies as needed
Releases titles after given time according to daily loan paid off report, as well as branch requests
Code titles received as delivered to job location
Respond to lending personnel, in timely manner, when questions/request received.
After initial collection of titles, begin verifying newly arrived titles by matching with system information.
Assist branches with titles considered troubled or delinquent
Hours of operation – same as branch
May be required to work Saturdays
