About The Position

If you became a financial advisor to build real relationships rather than chase transactions, this is the seat for you. As a Financial Advisor at Savant, you are the primary manager of your client relationships. You lead the conversations that matter most, formulate and implement advice, and draw on a deep bench of in-house planning, tax, and investment specialists whenever a client's situation calls for it. You will never be asked to be an expert in everything, only to be the trusted guide who brings the right expertise to the table. This is also a growth role. You will step into co-advisor and lead-advisor responsibilities on established relationships while building your own book through referrals, centers of influence, and community connections. Savant is majority employee-owned, so the value you create is value you share in. In this role, you can expect to focus in the following areas: Serve as co-advisor or lead advisor on existing client relationships, fulfilling the responsibilities outlined in the Savant Core Advisory Career Path. Deliver our service models profitably and consistently, in line with the Savant Service and Segmentation Guidelines and “The Savant Way.” Provide world-class service: host and lead client meetings, optimize your book of business, and continually sharpen your advisory skills. Lead or participate in “The Discovery Interview,” “My Ideal Future” discussions, and other strategic onboarding processes that set the tone for a lasting relationship. Own client satisfaction and retention, and serve as your clients' liaison to our Planning Team. Participate in new client relationship development, including planning meetings on new prospects and coordinating follow-up workflow for new clients, generating a minimum of $60,000 to $100,000 in new revenue at typical Savant fee schedules. Build and cultivate a referral network and centers of influence, including attorneys and other professional partners, previous clients, and community and service organizations. Leverage Advisor AI capabilities to elevate the client experience, delivering personalized insights in meetings and data-driven recommendations that strengthen planning strategies, always applying your own professional judgment. Maintain a team approach by assisting and filling in for colleagues, and take on other responsibilities as the practice grows. A couple things to note about our Financial Advisor position: The position is based in Indianapolis, IN, with regular in-person presence needed for client and team relationship building. The role follows a hybrid work model, with the schedule driven by client meeting needs. Some weeks may require more in-office time, while others may allow for more flexibility. This is a client-facing role that includes local travel for client meetings and community networking opportunities.
