About The Position

WealthBridge Financial Group is a wealth management firm seeking to help veterans and military spouses transition into financial advisory roles. Leveraging military training such as leadership, discipline, and client service orientation, this role offers a full transition pathway including pre-licensing guidance, training, and mentorship. The position is an independent contractor (1099) role, compensated entirely through commissions, with opportunities to serve veteran and military communities, federal civilian retirees, and DoD contractors. The firm is backed by National Life Group (A+ AM Best).

Requirements

  • Honorable discharge, active transition (TAP/SkillBridge with command approval), current Guard/Reserve status, or military spouse of an active-duty service member.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to learning and professional development.
  • Ability to obtain Life & Health insurance license in your state of residence.
  • Willingness to pursue SIE + Series 6 or 7 + Series 63/66 within 12 months.
  • Must pass a background check and fingerprinting.
  • Must file Form U4 with disclosure of prior regulatory, criminal, and financial history.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial advisory services to clients, focusing on veteran and military communities, military spouses, federal civilian retirees, and DoD contractors.
  • Complete a 4-week joint-field training program.
  • Obtain necessary licenses, including Life & Health insurance licenses and SIE, Series 6 or 7, and Series 63/66.
  • Develop and manage a client book of business.
  • Participate in ongoing training and mentorship.
  • Potentially grow into a leadership role with team overrides on First-Year Commissions (FYC).
