About The Position

WealthBridge Financial Group is a wealth management firm seeking to help veterans and military spouses transition into financial advisory roles. Leveraging military training such as leadership, discipline, and client service orientation, this role offers a full transition pathway including pre-licensing guidance, training, and mentorship. The position is an independent contractor role (1099) with commission-based compensation, offering book portability and opportunities for team overrides as the advisor grows. The firm serves communities near several military bases in Arizona and New Mexico, targeting veteran communities, military spouses, federal civilian retirees, and DoD contractors.

Requirements

  • Honorable discharge, active transition (TAP/SkillBridge with command approval), current Guard/Reserve status, or military spouse of an active-duty service member.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to learning and professional development.
  • Ability to obtain Life & Health insurance license in your state of residence.
  • Willingness to pursue SIE + Series 6 or 7 + Series 63/66 within 12 months.
  • Must pass a background check and fingerprinting.
  • Must file Form U4 with disclosure of prior regulatory, criminal, and financial history.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial advisory services to clients, focusing on veteran and military spouse markets.
  • Obtain and maintain necessary Life & Health insurance licenses and securities registrations (SIE, Series 6 or 7, Series 63/66).
  • Participate in pre-licensing guidance, 4-week joint-field training, and comprehensive mentorship.
  • Develop and manage a client book of business with 100% portability from day one.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with financial products and regulations.
  • Potentially develop junior advisors and earn team overrides on First-Year Commissions (FYC).
