About The Position

As a member of the Personal and Business Banking Team, you’ll build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management, financial services support, and exceptional client service. As a Financial Advisor, you’ll deliver on CIBC’s Imperial Service approach, acting as a single point of contact for your clients and helping them plan for today’s needs and tomorrow’s goals. You’ll make lasting connections and provide the right financial advice, helping them secure their futures, own homes, and set up businesses. You’re flexible to work our banking centre hours which may include evenings and weekends. To help deliver a great client experience, you’re flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

Requirements

  • Postsecondary degree/diploma and/or 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID) current accreditation and good standing.
  • Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing (Quebec).
  • Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF licensing.
  • Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).
  • Legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified.
  • Must have a valid work or study permit (where applicable).

Nice To Haves

  • Successful completion of CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774).
  • Successful completion of CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
