The Financial Advisor Trainee (FA Trainee) role is a transitional position designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills to qualify for the role of Financial Advisor Associate (FAA). Upon completion of the training program, trainees will transition into an FAA role, where they will be responsible for attracting and retaining clients by addressing their wealth management advisory needs. This involves analyzing client financial information, understanding their goals, and educating and advising them on investment and insurance strategies and products. The role requires broad knowledge of financial markets, strategies, and products, as well as strong interpersonal skills to build client relationships. As a fiduciary, FA's must prioritize client financial interests, providing objective advice, retirement planning, and ongoing reviews. The FAA role also involves relationship building, influencing skills to develop a client base, educating retail staff on identifying referral prospects, identifying enterprise opportunities, and engaging with key partners across the organization.
