The Financial Advisor Trainee (FA Trainee) role is a transitional position designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills to become a Financial Advisor Associate (FAA). Upon completion of the training program, trainees will transition into an FAA role, where they will be responsible for attracting and retaining clients by addressing their wealth management advisory needs. This involves analyzing client financial information, understanding their goals, and educating them on investment and insurance strategies. The role requires broad knowledge of financial markets, products, and wealth management, along with strong interpersonal skills to build client trust and provide ongoing objective financial advice as a fiduciary. As an FAA, the focus shifts to relationship building, influencing, and developing a client base, including educating retail staff on identifying referral prospects and engaging with key partners across the organization. The role also involves managing all aspects of insurance and annuity business, maintaining relationships with insurance companies, and staying knowledgeable about market trends and products.
