As a Financial & Actuarial Consultant at Gallagher, you’ll help clients and account teams make informed decisions using financial tools and insights. This role is about more than numbers—it’s about building trust, solving problems, and shaping strategies that drive success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years within employee benefits field in an underwriting capacity.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
  • A strong ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
  • Confidence in presenting complex financial information in simple terms.
  • A collaborative mindset to work closely with account teams and clients.
  • Familiarity with financial tools and systems for creating reports.
  • A proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
  • Detail oriented; strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task to meet deadlines with quality and accurate deliverables.
  • Must maintain favorable relationships with clients, vendors and other office staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Excel Skills.
  • Math or Finance degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data, evaluate reports, and provide recommendations to help clients negotiate rates and funding levels.
  • Prepare and present financial reports that track expenses, renewal projections, and funding strategies.
  • Act as a resource for industry trends, assist in creating presentations, and support account teams with underwriting policies.
  • Your work will directly contribute to client satisfaction and organizational growth.
