Financial Accounting and Reporting Intern
About The Position
BCBST’s BlueBridge Internship Program is seeking an intern for the Financial Accounting and Reporting Division. The program offers hands-on experience, professional collaboration, and opportunities to build real-world skills. This remote internship provides rotational exposure across the financial accounting and reporting teams. Interns perform meaningful work and gain insight into areas they may want to pursue professionally. The internship begins in June 2027 and runs for 12 months, through May 2028. Interns must work a minimum of 20 hours per week, scheduled consistently across the week, with flexibility in daily hours. The position is paid. Remote work is available, with preference for students in Tennessee or the Southeast.
Requirements
- Complete Intermediate I Accounting coursework.
- Be an active college student at an accredited college or university who has completed at least two years of college, or be a recent college graduate, or be enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program at an accredited college or university.
- Provide transcripts.
- Have a GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Be able to prioritize, work independently, and effectively manage time and resources.
- Have effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Have proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Have appropriate decision-making skills.
