About The Position

BCBST’s BlueBridge Internship Program is seeking an intern for the Financial Accounting and Reporting Division. This paid, remote internship provides rotational exposure across financial accounting and reporting teams. Interns perform meaningful work and gain insight into areas they may want to pursue professionally. The internship is scheduled to begin in June 2027 and last 12 months, through May 2028. Interns must work at least 20 hours per week, scheduled consistently across the week, with flexibility in daily hours. There is a preference for students located in Tennessee or the Southeast. Eligible applicants include active students at accredited colleges or universities who have completed at least two years of college, as well as recent graduates and students enrolled in accredited master’s or doctoral programs. Applicants must provide transcripts. Active full-time BCBST employees are not eligible to participate. The program requires a GPA of at least 2.75.

Requirements

Completion of Intermediate I Accounting coursework.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time and resources.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Appropriate decision-making skills.
Minimum GPA of 2.75.
Must be an active student at an accredited college or university who has completed at least two years of college, a recent college graduate, or enrolled in an accredited master’s or doctoral program.
Must provide transcripts.
