My client is seeking a BCom-qualified Accountant with completed SAIPA or SAICA articles from a small or medium-sized firm. The role is remote, with occasional office-based weeks approximately once every four to five months. Requirements

• BCom degree.
• Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles at a small or medium-sized firm.
• Ability to understand Afrikaans.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative and accountability.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Availability for occasional office-based weeks.
• A career focus on commercial accounting rather than pursuing the CA(SA) route.

Nice To Haves

• Multi-entity accounting experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting records and reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end processing and reporting.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Support year-end preparation and respond to audit queries.
