About The Position
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Intermediate Financial Accountant to support our dynamic team, with a focus on our Mexico operations. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks supporting the team. Your pride will be in staying focused and handling a lot of detailed information as well as a variety of tasks will be a vital part as you learn and grow within this diverse and interesting position.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience with the Mexican regulations, including applicable tax regulations, compliance requirements, payroll-related processes and REPSE.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across regions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain the highest standard of confidentiality
- Strong computer skills and knowledge in relevant office software applications (such as Microsoft Excel using pivot tables, charts and graphs, lookup tables, formulas, and filtering)
- Ability to work both independently and as a team
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative
- Motivated with the ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
