As our Financial Accountant / Analyst, you will utilize Fiserv-Portico and Wisdom software to perform data processing activities and develop actionable financial insights. You will provide detailed financial analysis supporting strategic initiatives and assist in the development and preparation of the Credit Union's annual budget. The role involves maintaining the CECL model for ongoing analysis of the adequacy of the Allowance for Loan Loss and professional communication with auditors, governmental agencies, and vendors to ensure inquiries are resolved promptly and accurately. You will perform detailed analyses using the general ledger and other financial reporting systems, prepare daily cash position reports, and assist the VP of Finance in organizing and analyzing data regarding projected assets, liabilities, and liquidity. Additionally, you will assist in the creation of monthly financial statements and reports for the Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) and the Board of Directors, support the preparation of NCUA 5300 Call Report, IRS Form 990, and Federal Reserve 2900 reports, and prepare documentation for internal and external audits, assisting in the implementation of recommendations. The position also requires assisting with regulatory reporting and providing backup for card services (Debit/Credit/Prepaid) and ACH activities, including posting file verification, exception processing, and dispute adjustments.
