As a Financial Accountant / Analyst, you will be responsible for utilizing financial software like Fiserv-Portico and Wisdom for data processing and to develop actionable financial insights. The role involves providing detailed financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, assisting in the development of the Credit Union's annual budget, and maintaining the CECL model for loan loss adequacy. You will also maintain professional communication with auditors, governmental agencies, and vendors, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of inquiries. Key duties include performing detailed analyses using the general ledger and other financial reporting systems, preparing daily cash position reports, and assisting the VP of Finance with data organization and analysis regarding projected assets, liabilities, and liquidity. You will contribute to the creation of monthly financial statements and reports for the Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) and the Board of Directors, and support the preparation of regulatory reports such as the NCUA 5300 Call Report, IRS Form 990, and Federal Reserve 2900 reports. Additionally, you will prepare documentation for internal and external audits, assist in implementing auditor and examiner recommendations, and provide backup for card services (Debit/Credit/Prepaid) and ACH activities, including file verification, exception processing, and dispute adjustments.
