About The Position

Associate positions at Astranis typically last for twelve weeks, and are salaried roles designed for recent graduates from a four-year university. The Finance Systems Associate will support the Financial Systems team in maintaining, configuring, and scaling our core financial technology stack, primarily NetSuite and Ramp. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced aerospace startup, building scalable system documentation and training cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operational workflows across the company.

Requirements

• Graduating with or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong technical aptitude with an interest in systems administration, process mapping, and documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to translate technical concepts into simple, user-friendly guides
• High attention to detail and strong organizational habits
• Passion for supporting mission-critical systems and scaling operations at a high-growth startup
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required (To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or other protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Nice To Haves

• Prior exposure to or coursework involving NetSuite, Ramp, Jira, or Confluence
• Experience creating technical documentation, training materials, or leading workshops
• Basic understanding of corporate accounting operations, manufacturing, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows
• Interest in space, aerospace technology, or high-growth hardware companies

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day administration, user management, and role permissioning for NetSuite, Ramp, and other financial systems
• Author, organize, and maintain clear system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides
• Design training materials and conduct onboarding sessions for internal employees on financial systems and expense submission workflows
• Field internal user support tickets, troubleshoot access issues, and help resolve system-related roadblocks
• Collaborate with the Finance team to test platform updates, new feature rollouts, and system integrations
• Help identify operational inefficiencies and suggest automated or system-driven solutions
