About The Position

The Finance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of the hospital's finance and accounting functions. Working under the direction of the Senior Director of Finance, this position provides hands-on leadership for accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close activities, account reconciliations, internal controls, and financial data integrity.

The Finance Supervisor serves as an operational resource to the Finance department and works collaboratively with hospital leaders and staff to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable financial information. The position requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively supervise and develop finance staff. The person in this role is expected to demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values of St. Peter’s Health.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close.

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience.
• CPA, MBA, or another relevant professional certification or advanced education.
