As a Co-Op participant, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience within our team. The Cencora Co-Op Program provides students with the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience while contributing to work that supports our business and customers. Co-Op participants work alongside experienced professionals, develop practical skills, and gain exposure to the processes, tools, and cross-functional collaboration that drive Cencora’s operations. The program is designed to complement academic learning with real-world experience while building a strong foundation for future career opportunities. This internship is designed for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Under the general direction of the assigned supervisor or manager, the Co-Op supports projects, processes, and business initiatives within their assigned department. Co-Op opportunities may be available across Finance, Strategic Global Sourcing, U.S. Supply Chain, and Data & Analytics. Participants will apply academic knowledge to real-world business challenges while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, volunteer, or work experiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to receive feedback and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred
  • Previous internship experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support projects and initiatives within the assigned functional area.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), reports, and other business documentation.
  • Analyze information and data to support business decisions and recommendations, as applicable to the assigned role.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to support departmental priorities.
  • Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Present project outcomes, recommendations, or key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.
