About The Position

The Whitebridge Finance Site Lead is a cross-functional role that will allow you to collaborate with peers to achieve plant goals, partner with plant operations to support business results and the plant mission, support a strong fiduciary environment, analyze metrics and reporting, and provide business insights. The Finance Site Lead is an integral contributor to the finance and business operations of the company and has a broad range of responsibilities, including cost accounting, general accounting, reporting, financial analysis, and supporting the accounting close process where internal controls, timeliness and accuracy are critical. This position requires knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting systems, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively with cross functional partners. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, effective communicator, has great attention to detail, and can adapt to change and shift priorities quickly while maintaining organization and accuracy. This candidate should possess a general inquisitiveness for industrial matters down to the floor level, as well as an ability to think outside the box and propose new ideas to create added value to the organization and generate performance. This role works closely with the Plant Manager to detect opportunities to grow, insights for continuous improvement, drive for excellence, and value-added reporting and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • 3+ years of related experience, 1+ years in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well on team and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization (Partnership for Impact) and coach/develop others
  • Proficiency with Sage or similar ERP

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development and execution of the annual operating plan, periodic financial forecasts, and monthly financial close.
  • Responsible for monitoring financial performance, identifying key risks and opportunities and develop plans to close any gaps to plant targets.
  • Supporting site delivery of annual HMM (productivity) targets.
  • Ensure Effective Financial Controls that comply with all company policies and supports the safeguarding of company assets.
  • Maintaining audit ready status of internal controls through periodic review and self-audit.
  • Collaborate as a strong voice on the Plant Leadership Team (PLT)
  • Support development and execution of site strategies including financial insights on capital investments
  • Provide support and leadership on cross functional plant and corporate initiatives.
