About The Position

We are seeking a Finance Site Lead to support plant operations and drive financial performance at a manufacturing facility. This role involves partnering closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, ensure strong financial controls, and support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include ownership of budgeting and forecasting, month-end close support, cost accounting, and financial reporting. The Finance Site Lead will monitor plant performance, identify risks and opportunities, and help drive productivity and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a hands-on approach, including engagement with plant operations, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in a plant environment, including standard costing, inventory, COGS, variance analysis, and understanding production drivers.
  • Proficiency in finance management, cost accounting software, GAAP accounting, and financial planning & analysis.
  • Strong Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and modeling.
  • Experience working in an ERP environment such as Sage or SAP.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of related experience, with at least 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well on a team and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial insights to support plant operations and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Own the budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking processes.
  • Participate in month-end close processes focusing on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct cost accounting and financial reporting.
  • Monitor plant performance and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Engage with plant operations to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Act as a finance partner to plant leadership, influencing decisions and providing insights.
