About The Position

RSM is looking for a Finance Service Desk Analyst to join our Finance Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-to mid-career professional (0–3+ years of experience) with an interest in finance, accounting, and technology. In this role, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for users across the firm, helping them navigate and troubleshoot finance applications and data. You’ll gain valuable exposure to enterprise financial systems while building foundational skills in problem-solving, communication, and client service. Requirements

  • Interest in accounting, finance, or business systems, with a basic understanding of financial concepts
  • Strong customer service mindset and a genuine desire to help others
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office and general technology tools
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • 0–3 years of experience in a help desk, customer support, or similar environment (internships included)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday or other finance systems is a plus such as Oracle are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for finance applications and finance-related data inquiries
  • Respond to user questions via phone, email, and ticketing systems in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot issues, document resolutions, and ensure accurate tracking in incident management systems
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams while maintaining ownership of the user experience
  • Support initiatives to improve data accuracy and data quality
  • Actively contribute to and utilize the knowledge base to enhance team efficiency and user self-service
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and cross-functional teams in a team-oriented environment
