Role Overview Launch your finance career through four six-month assignments across Mitsubishi Power businesses and locations. The Mitsubishi Power Finance Rotation Program is a full-time, 24-month early-career development opportunity that builds practical experience in corporate accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable, manufacturing finance, financial planning and analysis, and engineering project finance. Participants must complete all four rotations and relocate to each required location every six months. Acceptance into the program requires full commitment to the complete rotation schedule. Individual locations cannot be selected, substituted, or declined.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree: Must have fully completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university within 12 months before program start in June 2027. A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred; Economics, Business, or closely related fields will also be considered.
  • Minimum 3.5 undergraduate cumulative GPA.
  • Program commitment: Must be willing and able to complete all four six-month rotations over 24 months. Participation in every location is mandatory for selection and continued participation.
  • Relocation and onsite work: Must be fully willing to relocate every six months and work onsite at each assigned location: Latham, NY; Glastonbury, CT; Lake Mary, FL; and Orlando, FL.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable requirements and be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to work accurately with financial data and reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, take initiative, learn quickly, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP and financial systems; SAP or BlackLine exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
  • Complete four required six-month finance rotations according to the program locations and schedule.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, monthly financial reviews, and period-end close activities.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, reconciliations, and variance analyses that explain financial and operational performance.
  • Partner with finance, accounting, operations, engineering, supply chain, project management, and business leaders to provide accurate and timely financial insight.
  • Analyze profit-and-loss and balance-sheet activity, investigate material changes, and communicate findings clearly. Contribute to process improvement, financial controls, audit support, and special projects throughout the program.
