About The Position

JLL is seeking an experienced Finance & Retail Manager to join their high-performing Growthpoint Portfolio team. This role will serve as the financial backbone of Centre Management operations, ensuring the accurate delivery and integrity of all financial information to Centre Managers and Landlord representatives. The position is located remotely in Melbourne, VIC, or Sydney, NSW.

Requirements

5 years post-graduate experience with formal finance qualification (CA, CPA) completed or near completion
Sound knowledge of accounting standards and programs (MRI preferred)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, with proven experience in budget preparation and forecasting
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Excellent time management abilities with proven track record of meeting month-end deadlines
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
Positive, approachable team player who demonstrates independence and consistently exceeds client expectations

Nice To Haves

Retail property accounting experience highly desirable

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver annual budgets including income, expense, outgoings, capital expenditure and non-recoverable expenses
Conduct quarterly reforecasting, cashflow analysis and review monthly Income & Expenditure reports
Maintain detailed financial systems and documentation to ensure compliance with auditing and regulatory requirements
Manage tenant lease setups, modifications and ensure all billings and lease details are accurate and timely
Prepare annual tenant outgoings washups and support Centre Managers with turnover rent calculations
Oversee debtors management including tenant arrears reporting and ledger reconciliation
Manage accounts payable items including supplier communication and reconciliation
Respond to ad hoc client queries and prepare custom reports as required by Centre Managers and Landlords
