Finance Reporting & Analytics Manager

Capital GroupIrvine, CA
$159,354 - $254,966Hybrid

About The Position

As a Reporting and Analytics Manager, you will lead the Finance Hub’s standard reporting capability, ensuring the delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of trusted reporting products that support consistent decision-making across Finance. You will own core reporting assets, together with the BI semantic models, reporting standards, and data governance practices that establish a single source of truth for Finance. You will partner with Finance leaders, technology teams, and enterprise stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions, own the team roadmap and backlog, improve user adoption and data literacy, and simplify processes through automation and emerging AI capabilities. As the Hub matures, the role will progressively expand beyond standard reporting into broader analytics ownership, connecting reporting, business performance insights, third-party analytics, and planning and forecasting needs.

Requirements

  • Thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Be a strategic, collaborative leader who can translate Finance priorities into clear reporting and analytics objectives, planning and executing tactical delivery.
  • Possess strong financial and business acumen, including knowledge of Finance processes, performance management, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and planning and forecasting concepts.
  • Experience leading reporting, analytics, BI, or data product teams in a complex business environment, including accountability for enterprise reporting products end to end.
  • Demonstrate the ability to influence senior stakeholders, align expectations, and solve complex business problems through data-informed insights.
  • Demonstrate strong product management discipline, including roadmap development, backlog management, prioritization, delivery coordination, and change management.
  • Possess hands-on experience establishing and governing BI semantic models, data definitions, reporting standards, and related data governance practices, with enough technical depth to guide and challenge BI and data engineering teams.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and practical use of emerging technologies, including AI.
  • Drive adoption and data literacy, helping stakeholders rely on standard, governed reporting rather than building their own parallel solutions.
  • Be committed to developing people, building high-performing teams, and modeling Capital Group’s leadership behaviors and core values.
