Finance Oracle Fusion Consultant
About The Position
Seeking a Financial Technology Manager (Finance Oracle Fusion Consultant) to serve as the key liaison between IT and Finance. This is a newly created role tied to an ERP transformation, transitioning from SAP to Oracle Fusion (Finance modules). The ideal candidate will be a dedicated leader, acting as the primary bridge between IT and Finance during this transformation, translating finance needs into technical solutions, managing expectations, and driving the implementation forward. This role requires a strong techno-functional leader with deep experience in Oracle and functional finance partnership.
Requirements
- Oracle Fusion Financial Modules experience (at least 3 years)
- Completed at least one end-to-end Oracle Fusion ERP implementation (specifically within the finance modules) (SAP à Oracle Fusion)
- Strong techno-functional capability (technical enough to work with IT/integrations/partners and functional enough to partner with Finance leadership)
- 3+ years of team leadership experience (coach, mentor, help teams)
- Thick skin; ability to professionally push back when needed
- Strong communication skills and executive presence
- Ability to partner with both IT and Finance stakeholders
- Ability to set expectations clearly on feasibility within the system
Responsibilities
- Serve as the key liaison between IT and Finance
- Play a critical role in ERP transformation as the organization transitions from SAP to Oracle Fusion
- Partner closely with Finance leadership and understand business requirements
- Translate Finance needs into technical solutions
- Work with IT teams, integrations, and implementation partners
- Set realistic expectations around what can and cannot be done within the system
- Be the face of the ERP implementation between IT and Finance
- Manage challenging Finance stakeholders and professionally push back when needed
- Lead a team of 4 direct reports to start
