This role provides financial analysis and/or advanced general finance/accounting or related operational support. The analyst will understand business partner/department objectives and contribute to achieving performance/financial objectives by recommending appropriate actions based on analysis and review of results. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial performance against benchmarks, reconciling variances, researching and explaining findings, coordinating and executing internal/external finance projects, audits, and reporting processes. The analyst will support data collection and research, provide accurate data analysis, interpret findings, and make recommendations, while identifying and referring complex issues beyond their level of expertise. They will act as a key Finance Support resource, providing technical subject matter expertise and operational process support, and serving as a coordinator for operational issues and initiatives. The role involves analyzing key process drivers, identifying root causes of cross-functional operational issues, and developing recommendations for improvement. Additionally, the analyst will identify, document, and investigate processes/exceptions, resolve escalated matters, and develop/execute reporting functions. Managing relationships with customers and other areas of TD Finance is also a key aspect of this position.
