About The Position

We are hiring a Finance Office Coordinator, an integral role within our Continuing Care Retirement Community. As a vital liaison for residents and their families, you’ll ensure smooth transitions during move-outs, handle financial inquiries, and help maintain accurate records. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys building meaningful relationships while supporting residents and their families through important transitions.

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to person for residents and families during move-outs or transitions, building positive relationships and providing guidance with professionalism, empathy, and care, even during sensitive or difficult conversations.
  • Oversee the final billing process and ensure accuracy and timely entrance fee refunds while serving as a liaison between residents/family members, Accounts Receivable, and Escrow.
  • Answer and resolve billing inquiries, ensuring accuracy while providing clear, compassionate communication as a trusted and approachable resource.
  • Maintain and update census data; perform detailed data entry for admissions and update resident profiles in myUnity.
  • Serve as a member of the Welcome Home Team, welcome new residents and guide them through online billing and Finance Office processes.
  • Review and audit new resident files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage collections proactively and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments and take initiative in supporting the Finance Office with special projects.
