About The Position

Forsite is actively looking for a Finance Manager to join our Finance team. Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Manager serves as a key financial leader responsible for accounting operations, financial close, and the internal control environment across the FORSITE group of companies. This role is both hands-on and strategic — you'll ensure the integrity and timeliness of financial reporting while acting as a trusted partner to executive leadership.

Requirements

Active CPA designation
Progressive experience in financial reporting and controllership, with increasing responsibility
Demonstrated experience managing a financial close process in a multi-entity environment
Solid working knowledge of Canadian tax compliance (GST/HST, PST, corporate tax)
Strong proficiency with ERP systems

Nice To Haves

Experience with NetSuite specifically, or involvement in an ERP implementation
Background in public practice or a consulting/professional services environment
FP&A experience alongside controllership

Responsibilities

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including consolidation across multiple legal entities
Prepare and deliver internal management reporting packages for executive leadership
Oversee general ledger activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions
Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards, CRA obligations, and internal financial policies
Manage GST/HST and PST filings and support corporate tax compliance
Design and maintain internal controls, governance documentation, and audit readiness
Partner with the CFO and business unit leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance
Support continuous improvement of finance processes and systems, including active participation in our NetSuite ERP environment
Travel to our Salmon Arm, BC head office on a regular basis
