About The Position

In this position, the Manager of Finance will be expected to provide total financial leadership, direction and analysis to the functional management team. As a member of the strategic leadership team for the function, the leader of Finance will play a key role in driving functional metrics, controlling costs, and work closely with the finance leadership, in order to achieve business goals and create shareholder value.

Requirements

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, analysis and reporting of financial data.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.
Project management skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
Judgment and decision-making skills; considering relative costs, benefits of potential actions.
Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
5 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

Provide total financial leadership, direction and analysis to the functional management team.
Drive functional metrics and control costs.

Identify and implement process and organizational improvements.
Plan and ensure execution of department objectives.
Participate in preparation of the annual budget, review monthly expenditures and ensure budgetary goals are met.
Review monthly metrics to ensure goals are met.
Conduct financial planning for the function and make appropriate recommendations.
Lead, plan, and coordinate work teams efficiently to perform financial functions and activities.
Utilize metrics to track performance and manage workload.
Ensure operational processes and procedures are compliant and consistent with established policies.
Drive key functional financial metrics.
Develop and support a strategic alliance with business partners.
Participate in cross-functional activities focused on solving business issues and enhancing competitive advantage.
Facilitate cross-functional communication with other areas of the business including Finance, Human Resources, Real Estate, Operations, and Information Systems.
