About The Position

Genesys is seeking a Finance Manager (or Senior Finance Manager) to join the Customer Success Finance team. This role will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Customer Success organization, which is responsible for driving positive customer outcomes and relationships. The position involves supporting financial reporting and analysis (Revenue & Expense), compensation planning & administration, and business analytics. The ideal candidate will possess strong FP&A experience and an interest in customer behavior, operational metrics, and Professional Services business drivers. This role will assist Finance and Business leaders in understanding performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing data-driven insights to improve both Customer Success performance and Customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of experience in Finance or Consulting (SaaS experience preferred)
  • Experience in compensation analysis, and/or commission/bonus administration preferred
  • Experience using AI-powered tools for analysis, reporting, or productivity preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect financial results and operational metrics into a clear business narrative
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex analysis and present actionable insights
  • Naturally empathetic, trustworthy, collaborative, and curious
  • Thrives under ambiguous, fast-paced, and complex environments

Responsibilities

  • Standardize, enhance, and maintain routine, executive-ready, financial reporting and analysis for all Customer Success functions, including the Professional Services business.
  • Enhance and maintain a Quarterly Business Review package for each Customer Success Regional Leader, conveying key performance metrics and areas needing attention/action.
  • Support compensation management for Customer Success teams, including bonus plan design, performance analysis, and quarterly payout execution.
  • Assist the Customer Insights team with analytics around customer behavior, including retention, expansion, churn, product adoption, and customer health.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, organizational changes, or investment decisions.
  • Be a thought leader and trend setter in creating opportunities to leverage AI solutions in day-to-day activities.
