About The Position

The Finance Manager will play an integral part in the development and implementation of high priority strategic initiatives; using data analysis techniques to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and help make informed business decisions to support business growth. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operational execution – playing a critical part in shaping the future of the business. You will partner cross-functionally to drive high-impact initiatives, translating data into actionable insights that fuel growth, improve decision-making, and elevate the customer experience. With a strong foundation in financial modeling and analytics, you will tackle complex business challenges, build forward-looking scenarios, and bring clarity to ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on both big-picture thinking and detail-oriented execution to make a meaningful and measurable impact! Please note: This is a 13-month contract.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • At least 5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and month-end close processes; experience with QuickBooks is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Skilled in organization, analysis, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with performance metrics and warehouse management systems

Responsibilities

  • Support, develop and implement strategic initiatives to grow the business, drive results and positively impact customers
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and resolve complex business challenges
  • Build financial models and conduct rigorous analyses. Prepare insightful commentary and reports tailored to the specific needs of diverse stakeholders
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and ensure data accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Leverage advanced analytics and visualization tools to summarize data and enhance decision support
  • Establish accurate data sources for analysis linking to financial statements and cash for scenario planning
  • Conduct external research to support strategic planning and decision making
  • Assist in creation of internal reporting and strategy documents to support business unit activities and strategic planning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and external partners to provide relevant and actionable customer, competitor, and market level insights to the business units
  • Develop strong cross-functional partnerships and relationships to support key strategic initiatives as needed
  • Support with ad hoc activities as required
