RAVN provides combat or high maneuver training for pilots, RDT&E, and maintenance services with its fully owned fleet of aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPI reports for senior leadership.
  • Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecast, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
  • Build financial models to support strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and capital expenditure analysis.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested by leadership.
  • Partner with department heads to understand operational drivers and translate them into financial impact.
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, depreciation, and intercompany transactions.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation schedules, and disposals.
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and government contract accounting requirements (FAR/DFAR) where applicable.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Produce and distribute monthly financial packages for leadership review.
  • Prepare financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
  • Develop and maintain close checklists and schedules to improve efficiency and ensure completeness.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide supporting documentation.
  • Assist with tax filings and compliance reporting as required.
