Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international/overseas setting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, taxation, and financial regulations.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial tools
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local financial regulations.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and business growth.
  • Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, international regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements.
  • Manage banking relationships and oversee foreign currency transactions.
  • Optimize working capital and investment strategies.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team in overseas operations.
  • Establish performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide financial insights to senior management for decision-making.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global offices.
