About The Position

The Finance Manager supports the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Program Finance functions.  The position serves as a key leader in financial planning and analysis. Their primary responsibility is to oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring that financial strategies align with the overall business objectives. By analyzing financial data and trends, the Finance Manager helps guide decision-making processes that drive the company's growth and profitability.

Requirements

  • Experienced in Program Finance and Corporate Finance.
  • Reporting skills, attention to detail, deadline-oriented.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Must be able to pass a local background check.

  • Prefer experience with Deltek Costpoint.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively interact with multiple levels of leadership within the organization including SBU and Corporate Leadership.
  • Lead in development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Lead monthly financial reviews of PSRs, transactional Details, proactively work with Program Management in supporting the programs’ financial performance and requirements.
  • Comfortable making recommendations and presenting financial analysis to Senior Management.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyze variances of margin, operating activities and current/past trends in key performance indicators.
  • Ensure project setup within JAMIS meets the needs of both the company and the contract's reporting needs.
  • Ability to understand/communicate contract financial reporting requirements.
  • Provide financial decision support to stakeholders focused on minimizing risk and maximizing return of limited resources.
  • Financial monthly close experience (program focused) to include labor accruals, subcontractor accruals, other vendor accruals, and SOX compliant revenue recognition.
  • Knowledge of Indirect Pool Structures, including, but not limited to PMO rates, fringe rates, overhead rates, and G&A rates.
  • Guides Program Finance staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
