About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to help build and support the financial planning and analysis function within a growing, private equity–backed wealth management firm. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this individual will support day-to-day budgeting, forecasting, and reporting deliverables, build and maintain financial models and dashboards, and help create scalable, repeatable processes that improve financial visibility across the business. The ideal candidate thrives in a build‑and‑scale environment, is comfortable working through ambiguity, is highly detail‑oriented, and has strong financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of finance or FP&A experience; financial services or wealth management preferred.
• Hands‑on FP&A experience with strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in a high‑growth, private equity‑backed, or carve‑out environment preferred.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining budgets and forecasts in multi‑entity, multi‑business‑line organizations.
• Advanced Excel required.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to financial systems implementations and reporting automation a plus.
• CPA, MBA, or CFA preferred but not required.
• experience with Workday, Power BI, or similar planning/reporting platforms is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual budgeting, reforecasting, and monthly variance analysis across multiple business units, business lines, and legal entities, partnering with the Director of Finance to support performance visibility and value creation.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including revenue and AUM forecasting, margin analysis, and advisor compensation analysis.
• Prepare and enhance KPI dashboards and monthly management reporting packages for senior leadership.
• Assist with private‑equity, investor, and lender reporting, including organic growth, acquisition tracking, and performance analytics.
• Partner closely with Accounting to ensure timely, accurate monthly close and management reporting.
• Improve data integrity and consistency across financial systems, reporting tools, and entities.
• Assist with audit, lender, and other compliance‑related requests where applicable.
• Analyze profitability by advisor, client segment, business line, and acquisition.
• Support cost structure analysis and margin improvement initiatives.
• Support process improvements, automation, and standardization across finance and reporting workflows.
• Assist with financial diligence, modeling, and integration planning for acquisitions.
• Help standardize reporting, forecasting, and KPI frameworks across newly acquired entities.
• Maintain post‑close visibility into acquisition performance, earnouts, and integration progress.
• Support implementation and optimization of financial systems and reporting tools (including Workday and Power BI).
• Develop scalable templates, standardized reporting packages, and repeatable finance processes.
• Partner with technology and data teams to improve reporting efficiency and enable a single source of truth.
